Biography

I am an enthusiastic Marine Scientist specialized in Phytoplankton Pigments. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Red Sea Research Center at KAUST in the Susana Agusti group. I am originally from Natal/RN-Brazil, where I finished my undergrad university in Biology. All my academic life has been linked to laboratory work and teaching. I have worked in several countries and I was on oceanographic cruises in Mediterranean Sea, Atlantic Sea and Antarctic Ocean which I conducted research with chemotaxonomy to study the phytoplankton community

Research Interests

Phytoplankton Pigments, Chemotaxonomy, HPLC, CHEMTAX, Marine Ecology
