● Biodiversity and distribution of dinoflagellates in the Red Sea
● Taxonomy/systematics and molecular phylogeny of dinoflagellates in the Red Sea
● Harmful algal bloom (HAB) and toxic dinoflagellates in the Red Sea
● Vulnerability of Red Sea dinoflagellates to global change (e.g. UV-B radiation, ocean warming, etc.)
